For the second year in a row, B&B, seasonal rental and boutique inn owners on the Eastern Shore of Virginia are hosting “Salute Our Troops” in honor of Memorial Day during the month of May 2010.

Twenty-eight (28) participating Eastern Shore lodging properties are offering a total of fifty (50) FREE one-night stays to active military personnel as a tribute to their military service. We want to recognize the sacrifice our men and women in uniform and their families make every day.

ENTRY DEADLINE: April 16, 2010

To be eligible, military personnel need only provide proof of active service when they arrive at the lodging property. You must be active status military to qualify.

To Enter:

1. Review the participating B&Bs, inns and rental properties.
2. Select your first choice and second choice by clicking on the drop down menus.
3. Select your second choice by clicking on the second drop down menu.
4. Complete the form including the contact numbers where we can reach you.
5. Click Submit to enter. Please submit only one entry for each military person. Duplicate entries will be discarded.
6. Submit your entry by April 16, 2010. We cannot accept entries after that date.
7. Winners will be selected at random and notified by the lodging property. Expect to receive notification during the week of April 19, 2010.
8. If we can’t connect with the winner within 3 days, we will draw another name to fill the slot.
