The Sunset Beach Inn is located just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel at the tip of the Delmarva Peninsula. Sited on 38 acres of land and surrounded by the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge, the inn boasts one of the Eastern Shore’s largest private beaches on the Chesapeake Bay.

 

The inn has 72 guest rooms, an RV Park, and we are pet friendly. Sunset Beach offers a unique waterfront dining experience unlike any other location on the Eastern Shore. Our bay front restaurant also serves seasonal live music. We offer complimentary wireless high speed internet access, continental breakfast, a seasonal pool and playground.  All rooms have cable television, coffee maker with gourmet coffee, iron and ironing board. Additionally, suite rooms have whirlpools, microwaves and refrigerators.

Pine Grove Campground is located on 37 acres of overgrown woods filled with yellow pine trees. There are six ponds that serve as a sanctuary for over 50 different species of ducks, geese, swans, pheasants, and other wildlife. There is a public boat ramp and crabbing dock within walking distance of the campground.

Preserve Description
This beautiful, 800-acre preserve lies on the eastern shore of Hog Island Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. With its own clam areas, this prime shorefront preserve offers a wide range of water activities including swimming, fishing and boating. The world's largest naval base, Norfolk, is convenient to this preserve, as are Colonial Williamsburg and the famous Busch Gardens.
